KERALA AND THE BACKWATERS Cochin-Munnar-Alleppey-Kumarakom Tour Duration-6N/7D

DAY 01: COCHIN (B)

Arrive Kochi airport. And transfer to hotel. Morning sightseeing visiting the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue - (closed on Saturdays) St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica, "Chinese Fishing Nets". Evening: Enjoy Kathakali Dance show followed by dinner at a local restaurant. Dinner & overnight at the hotel.

DAY 02: COCHIN – MUNNAR (B)

Morning, checkout of the hotel and then drive to Munnar. On arrival check-in at your Hotel. The city famous for tea Plantation, fondly known as Kanan Devan. On arrival check-in at the hotel and relax, explore the area on your own and wander around the tea gardens, take a sip of tea at the local tata café which will give you a freshest taste of tea ever and at least 32 flavors of tea to choose from to drink. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 03: MUNNAR (B)

After a wonderful breakfast, gear up for a half day sightseeing tour visiting Mattupetty Dam and Eravikulam National Park. Afternoon at leisure. Do remember to purchase some Tea as souvenir for your friends from this.

DAY 04: MUNNAR – ALLEPPEY (B,L,D))

Early breakfast at the hotel. Then leave for Alleppey. Arrive by afternoon, board the beautiful Kerala houseboat. Enjoy the beautiful winding backwaters and the village scenes and - Lunch and Dinner on board the houseboat.

DAY 05: ALLEPPEY– KUMARAKOM (B,L,D)

Breakfast on board the kettuvalam – houseboat and then disembark. Check-in at Kumarakomn resort. Overnight at the hotel / resort.

DAY 06: IN KUMARAKOM (B,L,D)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Morning enjoy boat cruise on backwaters which takes you to narrow canals and by canals giving you an opportunity to see the rural life along the banks of the backwaters. Afternoon is free to enjoy various facilities available at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 07: IN KUMARAKOM – COCHIN (B)

After a breakfast at hotel, checkout and head towards airport for your onwards flight back.
